 What’s Happened

What’s Happened By Melissa Garcia

Look around you, what do you see?

Look at what’s happened to unity

every move is watched, every utter is heard

nothing is sacred and nothing’s secured.

Broken down with divide on every view

without realizing they’re controlling you.

Why can’t you see what’s in front of your face?

it’s a pity to see you enthralled in disgrace.

Is this what you came here for?

Is this what you came here for?

As you turn your back, in great disbelief

falling for all the the lies and deceit,

you fail to remember your side of the bargain

and your blood runs cold, and your heart starts to harden.

You mean nothing, you’re bait for a nation

to assist them in their annihilation.

When will you see this is all just a ploy

to be pawned in a game of seek and destroy?

Is this what you came here for?

Is this what you came here for?

And now you wait hoping the end is near

but its only the beginning, there’s more to fear;

it’s too late to say you take it all back

because you’ve already signed contract

oppressed, control, greed, strife

goodbye forever to freedom and life
